Personality
Fear has a dark and mysterious aura about him, when he is in a room the mood suddenly turns calm but at the same time frightening, and yet you feel like luck is on your side, and once he leaves it's like he never entered the room. Fear while mysterious isn't anti-social or shy, in fact he likes to talk to people although most humans feel insecure around him. Fear works as a Hired Hunter but even while working to "Hunt" someone or something he still keeps a calm, flowing attitude as if he has no worries in the world.
Fear never seems to act scared, angry or sad while in public, but is rarely seen in private without him knowing someone's there. Fear has a kind of need for supernatural beings, only he focuses on the female persuasion mostly. Fear has a slight womanizer side to him, only instead of him acting creepy he seems more romantic. Fear is never seen on a full moon night, and it has something to do with his Voodoo spirit and his Vampire nature.
On a side not Fear is a masochist, which means he gets pleasure out of feeling pain. One of the reasons for this is from his past history, the other reason is because of the types of spells he uses, since some require a sacrifice of blood.
Appearance
Fear has long black hair that goes down to his mid back. His eyes are gold and his skin as pale as the moon itself. His normal attire is a black jacket with matching pants as well as one big glove that covers his left hand for unknown reasons. He also wears black shoes and a Rosario necklace. He is about 6'2" and 164 pounds.
Abilities
Voodoo Dolls: Voodoo dolls are dolls that use spirits and the users power to communicate with the Voodoo God. These dolls are used for things such as wealth, luck, protection, love, and vengeance. Fear has one for each, and the spell that activates them is, "We call upon these spirits from our hearts, summoning the gods, urging them to respond."
Shadow Manipulation: Fear has the ability to manipulate shadows. This ability can be used for different things. Some examples are that he is able to manipulate his shadow to use voodoo charms or open doors etc. He can also use this ability to manipulate shadows of the dead with the help of his "Vengeance" voodoo doll.
Supernatural Senses: Being a vampire Fear has enhanced senses strength and speed. He is able to hear the slightest sound, smell far away scents, see the slightest movements, and lastly feel sensations more intensively.
Voodoo Guardian: Fear's strongest spell to date, he concentrates a strong magic that causes all of his voodoo dolls to combine and create a Voodoo spirit that's soul purpose is to follow it's summoners orders until death. The Guardian will protect it's masters life with it's own and also has the ability to use all the magic of the voodoo dolls. This ability takes a while to cast for the spell must be said for each voodoo doll and also drains the summoners energy as long as the Guardian is summoned.
Curses and Charms: Fear carries with him various items and charms that inflict curses upon anyone they "target." The way it works is some charms take effect when the person is wearing it. While other charms tack effect if a person simply touches it. However the most common used by Fear are charms that require a sacrifice from either the target or himself in order to activate the curse.
Anti-Curse: A powerful ability only obtainable threw either bloodline or shere experience. Fear has gone threw countless curses and hexes of all kinds, as well as obtained charms threwout the world in order to build up an immunity to any and all curses. It all started with a deal between Fear and "Loa" the Voodoo God. It was agreed that if Fear could go threw six powerful curses and survive them that he would become immune to negative magics inflicted upon himself, however Loa needs to be paid so it was agreed that if Fear died Loa got his body, but if he didn't die Loa got his soul.
History
Warning some of this history may prove severely dark and/or frightening. You have been warned.
The Voodoo and the Deal.
170 years ago there lived a man who lusted for power and eternal life. The man was a traveler and explored new area's in search of something, or someone who could help make his dreams come true. The man heard about a magic that could possibly give the man what he seeked so dearly. He was told that there was a man in Africa that held the secret to his wishes, and although the person who told the man was a bit shifty the man paid it no mind, for his lust for immortality and power blinded his vision and common knowledge.
The man found his way to Africa and searched for the magic man. After a day and a half of searching he finally found the hut of the magic man. When he entered the man was slightly disturbed by his surroundings of the dark hut with bones of snakes and mammals hanging on the walls and the small ceiling, smoke and powders filled the air. The man demanded that the magic man give him eternal life and power. Then the Voodoo man said he'd give the man a deal. if he could obtain 5 mystic items for him then he would grant him the power he sought, the man eagerly agreed.
"The Will of an Immortal"
The first item on the greedy mans list was a written Will, the only difference was that this person was far from death, in fact he was said to have been raised from it. The rumor was when this man died the person that read his Will, had rewrote it in order to make it so he inherited all the mans belongings. After the will was read it was told that the man who had rewrote the will died of a heart attack with the Will in his hand, the only weird thing was the man from what they could see was in perfect health.
Believers suspect that the dead man Milton Charles had come back from his grave and had killed the man. This is not too far from the real truth, in fact the only thing was instead of intentionally killing the man Milton had accidentally scared him to death while warning him to rewrite the Will as he had it originally.
"A Scalpel that takes lives"
Next the man was to retrieve a scalpel or a master surgeon. Although this item would be a bit more difficult. The story here is, that a master surgeon named Dr. Johnson, was conducting a surgery on a patient when out of nowhere he had suddenly sliced open nearly 70% of his body into open wounds pouring out blood until the floor was drowned in it. When he was taken in for questioning he simply said he had gotten an uncontrollable urge to kill the patient. He was sent to a mental hospital to undergo intense therapy as well as be kept away from society. Later the next day Johnson murdered 10 more people with a scalpel. The police figured that he must have somehow sneaked it in as an escape tool.
In reality Johnson had found the scalpel in his room the next day, and not only that, but it was the same scalpel that he murdered the patient with in the hospital. The scalpel had fed on the intent to kill hidden deep within the conscience of Dr. Johnson's mind, and when it was full it possessed him into letting it out. Now the scalpel is somewhere waiting to be picked up, it's intent to kill rising every day it doesn't taste blood.
"The Diary of a Investigator"
Up next was the diary of a lesser know detective but an amazing one non the less. This detective was said to have a gift that allowed him information on certain things, such as people. This was no mere training or intuition of the human mind, something supernatural was going on.
When the man found the book he saw nothing but blank pages, no words or anything in this journal. He figured the Voodoo man was crazy if he thought this journal held the secret to the investigators power, but as soon as the man had opened the book near someone else, he was amazed that ink suddenly appeared on the page, giving the description of that person, such as name, and physical appearance, even a little about the persons personality. This must have been the secret of the journal.
"The Eye of a blind man"
This one sounded particularly cruel to the man, even though he sought the power of the Voodoo man's magics, he thought taking a man's glass eye was just plain rude and dirty. Although when he found the man he had found out he was more rude and dirty then what any other person could have done to him.
When he tried to obtain the eye the man suddenly heard a crash and then lost sight of the man, but after knocking into him he heard the crash again and found his sight returned. The blind man was then gone, and he obtained the eye. Which apparently when broken took away sight of all who can see, and when broken again near the person, gave it back.
"Lucy Lasher's Teddy Bear"
The last item was indeed the most dangerous item of then all and wouldn't be very easy to obtain, although when the man read what it was he thought it was some type of joke. A teddy bear from a little girl named Lucy, this was either going to be the funniest item or the easiest, or that's what he thought anyway, before he met old Lucy Lasher. She was a very little girl with a pail face and a fancy little white dress, but any who were fooled by her sweet appearance have gone threw the ultimate torture.
Lucy lived in an old abandoned orphanage because of the death of her murderous parents. Lucy has lived there for years, never aging, never needing to eat sleep or drink. Some say she might not even need oxygen to live, but that was a mystery, especially since some thought she wasn't alive in the first place. When the man met Lucy he was literally inches away from dying but with luck and a bit of cunning he narrowly escaped deaths embrace.
Now this bear was more then just stuffing and cloth, it was the very definition of torture. For when the bear has tasted your blood, whatever happens to it, happens to you, and unless the bear is repaired, you don't repair. The man knows not of what happened to Lucy, but he knows that if she is still alive she will eventually find him and want her bear back.
"Cost of Rewards"
After finally giving the Voodoo man his payment, the man was granted his power, but at a harsh price. With the shake of his hand the Voodoo man, that turned out to be the Voodoo god Loa, had turned the man into what is known as a Vampire, and allowed him to use the power of the art of Voodoo magic. The man now walks the world, forever young, and forever cursed.
